Does anyone have any experience or advice about the best place to stay with a dog?

That's an excellent question. I know that the Edgewick is definitely a No Pets Allowed establishment. Not sure about the North Bend Motel - you'll want to just call them or shoot them an e-mail to double-check. And I can almost guarantee that the Sunset is pet-friendly.

You're welcome! I'm hoping the North Bend Motel is pet-friendly because I think it's the next best place to stay besides the Edgewick. The Sunset has been reported to be scary but also reported to be OK. I think it depends on the person's level of expectation of what they're getting.

Does anyone remember where Jeana stayed the year she brought Rocky with her? I think she stayed at the campground, yes?

i called north bend motel, sunset motel, and mt. si motel, and none of them allow dogs. fall city inn told me it is against the law to allow dogs in the building (??)

edgewick apparently does allow dogs, but they require a $250 deposit. he seemed a bit confused about the whole idea though.

salish lodge has dog friendly rooms (first floor with yard access) with a one time $50 pet fee (however the rooms are already around $300/night, plus taxes and additional fees).

bellevue embassy suites allows pets under 35# with $50 one time fee, and bellevue days inn allows pets under 50# with $25/week fee.

issaquah holiday inn does not allow pets.
issaquah motel 6 allows all dogs- no weight limit, no fee.

i haven't called the b&b's yet, if i do i will post what i find out.

hope this info helps anyone else wondering about bringing their dog! :)

Ah, the Edgewick must've changed their policy. I always found it odd that they didn't accept pets seeing as how a large percentage of their regular clientele show up with dogs in tow.

Thank you for sharing all your research with us! This is wicked helpful for anyone else looking to travel with pets! :D

Motel 6 is the best! The rooms are usually pretty basic and often very small, but they are so pet-friendly. I don't know how convenient Issaquah is to the festivities, but they are usually A-1 for traveling with dogs. I'd suggest a double room because they usually only have one double bed in a single, and your little Dorrie is a big girl! :P

Fall City Inn is part of the Roadhouse (a restaurant) so it is against code to have animals where food is served.

I am sorry the North Bend Inn no longer allows dogs. I called too. Gonna be kenneling my pooch, I guess, but he would LOOOOOOVE the Salish pet amenities!
