Who We Are

We'd
like to introduce ourselves. We're Amanda Hicks and Jared Lyon, and
we're the organizers of the Twin Peaks Festival.
As the organizers, it is our responsibility to plan and implement the Twin Peaks Festival on an annual basis, as well as ensure that you the fans have a fantastic festival experience. We want you to come back each year, you know!
Amanda Hicks
Amanda hails from Vacaville, CA, and she deals with overall event planning, building/location reservations, financial management, administrative shenanigans and is responsible for all of our delicious catering. She has attended every festival since 1999, with the exception of 2001. This is her ninth year as a festival organizer.
Jared Lyon
Jared comes to you all the way from Rochester, NY, and he's your bus tour pro, webmaster, designer of almost all of the festival merchandise and promotional materials, and since he has a lovely public speaking demeanor, takes on emcee duties during the festival. Jared has attended every festival since 2001 and like Amanda, this is his ninth year as a festival organizer.
People who help make the fest possible
Without the help of a cracker jack volunteer staff, the fest wouldn't exist. We'd like to introduce you to them.
Robin Garrels
Robin Garrels has been attending the Twin Peaks Festival since 1997. She “gushed” to a Wrapped In Plastic writer “this is my mecca!”...and it still is. (Although bowing and praying in the direction of North Bend happens a little less often than 5 times a day.)
Jason Deehr
Jason is our advertising and promotions guru. He has a knack for knowing what catches a Twin Peaks fan's eye. His videos and images are legendary amongst festival fans, and his latest addition - the celebrity post cards - are a HUGE hit. Plus he's cute as a button.
Raymond Wong
The newest and often times the most vocal member of the festival family. Sometimes exerting just a little *too* much enthusiasm, Raymond is responsible for celebrity relations, bartending, and occasional tomfoolery.
Rob & Deanne Lindley
Affectionately known as "Festival Mom & Dad", Rob and Deanne are a dynamic duo of awesomeness. Between celeb wrangling, souvenir wrangling, attendee wrangling, staff wrangling, and general mischief, they are indispensible members of the fest family.
Rachel Garner
Rachel is a one-woman powerhouse, using her years of experience working sci-fi conventions to help wrangle both celebrities and attendees. She makes a mean Skittles vodka and doesn't mind being known as "our local chick."
Karl Lehtonen
Karlos has worked behind the scenes with us for several years now and finally we've been able to coerce him to come out of the shadows for the 2012 fest. An ace celeb wrangler. Can also assemble a red room in the dark with both hands tied behind his back.
